Technician - Field IT (Chicago)

About The Position
The Field Technician plays a critical role in supporting the IT and Operations teams within a company owned market (40-50+ restaurants) by ensuring technology repairs are conducted quickly, preventative maintenance is performed regularly, and technology implementations are well executed and efficient. This role will execute daily assigned tasks and report on completion status within a work management system. This individual will work from the field/remotely out of Chicago, IL.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree is preferred.
- Clean driving record is required.
- 5+ years of technical experience in the desktop, application deployment, configuration management cabling and hardware installation.
- In-depth experience in configuration management of a technology platform (such as servers, networks, storage, applications, or PCs).
Responsibilities
- Execute daily work assignments efficiently so that they meet installations and service standards.
- Manage technology hardware inventory to ensure all materials needed are available each day.
- Report all work completion status and/or escalate to appropriate team for SLA adherence.
