About The Position

The Technician, Facility Services, Power Washing, operates and maintains pressure washing equipment to clean various facility surfaces, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves evaluating cleaning requirements, performing preventative maintenance on machinery, managing equipment inventory, and operating corporate vehicles safely. The position requires effective communication with facility users and collaboration with team members to address service requests and maintain operational efficiency. The Technician also supports seasonal exterior maintenance and contributes to continuous improvements that enhance facility conditions and reduce operating costs. The team is committed to ensuring facility functionality through routine and preventive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems. Under experienced leadership, members develop troubleshooting skills and gain practical experience with maintenance tools while following safe work practices. Collaboration supports inspections, repairs, and documentation to maintain operational efficiency and safety. The team prioritizes continuous learning, adherence to ethical standards, and regulatory compliance, working together to sustain high-quality facilities that reliably meet business needs with efficiency and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment and related machinery safely and effectively.
  • Ability to evaluate surfaces and determine appropriate pressure, temperature, and operational methods for cleaning.
  • Skilled in performing preventative maintenance and safety checks on power washing and facility equipment.
  • Competence in operating corporate vehicles and heavy machinery in compliance with safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with facility users, managers, and team members.
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and company policies with integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support facility maintenance needs efficiently.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and maintain a minimum of a 90-day Medical Examiner's Certification (MEC) card.
  • No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
  • No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
  • No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
  • No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
  • As required by Section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
  • Ability to work alternative shifts, including overnight or weekends.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
  • Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
  • Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in power washing/exterior maintenance.
  • Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish.
  • State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California).
