The Facilities Maintenance Tech Upholsterer will perform skilled duties involving servicing, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining all types of upholstered pieces throughout the resort, including venues, restaurants, event spaces, public areas, guest rooms, suites, back-of-house areas, slots, and table games. This role requires adherence to all laws, regulations, and company policies. The technician will be responsible for stripping and installing new layouts on table games, and repairing or re-upholstering chairs, sofas, and upholstered wall panels. The position also involves estimating, scheduling, planning, and executing preventive and corrective upholstery maintenance, troubleshooting abnormalities, and engaging in trade work that may include basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Key tasks involve repair, maintenance, alteration, installation, fabrication, and creation of upholstered items, requiring problem-solving, teamwork, communication, attention to detail, and adherence to safety guidelines. The role demands safe operation of all upholstery-related tools and equipment.
