About The Position

The Technician-Endoscopy supports endoscopic procedures by preparing equipment, managing specimens, and helping ensure patient comfort. The role works closely with healthcare teams in a dynamic clinical setting to contribute to positive patient outcomes. The position is based at Henry Ford Health’s Rochester campus.

Requirements

BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer.
High school diploma or equivalent with one year of cumulative experience, or an associate's or technical degree.

Nice To Haves

Endoscopy experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, positioning patients, and cleaning, shaving, or numbing testing sites as needed.
Interpret, describe, and report test results, recognizing and addressing recording errors and artifacts.
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures and promptly report abnormal findings.
Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and laboratory areas to ensure readiness for procedures.
