About The Position

This role involves contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, potentially leading a team of technicians in an innovation studio. Responsibilities include developing work standard instructions, managing material inventory, and implementing kaizen ideas on the manufacturing floor. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with various construction materials and tools. Collaboration with other departments and support for specific projects like Karakuri are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with Hand and power tools
• Knowledge of Lean principles and data driven
• Knowledge of MS Office – Outlook, Power point and Excel
• Experience in an assembly manufacturing operation
• Mechanically inclined
• Able to build Creform, SUS, 80/20 etc. structures.
• Use of measuring tape and blueprint reading
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Problem solving techniques.
• Strong team player, results orientated, dedication to excellence and sense of urgency to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of technicians at innovation studio.
• Develop and works with work standard instructions.
• Build material inventory list for work at shop and make order fulfillment.
• Activities involved walking, coordination with other departments, negotiation, and implementing kaizen ideas on the manufacturing floor.
• Support Karakuri projects.
• Come up with kaizen ideas and help the team to materialize.
