About The Position

Responds to computer system related support calls, handling or escalating in a timely manner. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Basic analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• NJ CER LICENSE REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or technical degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in iSeries and pSeries platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to computer system related request tickets; ensure all requests are handled or escalated in a timely manner
• Monitor system performance and report issues as necessary
• Complete all assigned shift tasks, including completion of scheduled jobs, documenting completion of tasks and completing turnover logs
• Provide support for all systems, including software and hardware for all platforms, troubleshooting tasks and communicating to IT staff or service vendors
• Maintain procedures and documentation for the equipment located in the data center
• Locate and replace equipment malfunctions as required; complete appropriate paperwork for repair
• Participate in the process to load code to the production environment
• Ensure the computer room is maintained in a clean and orderly condition
• Maintain the confidential nature of matters pertaining to company records, policies and customer lists
