About The Position
A non-licensed staff member who, under the direction of a registered nurse, provides physical care and emotional support to patients while maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment. The role also performs clerical and communication functions as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- CPI certification, to be obtained within the introductory period.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
- One to two years of previous experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
- Psychiatric Technician certification.
