As a Claims Technician within the Claims Centralized Operations Group, you will provide critical administrative and operational support to the Claims Organization, primarily supporting Short-Term Disability (STD operations. Claims Technicians are an essential behind-the-scenes team that helps ensure efficient claim handling, accurate processing, and seamless operational support. The Hartford is committed to your success and will provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to help you grow in your role and advance your career.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Strong active listening skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively collaborate and work within a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including basic Excel skills.
Ability to learn and navigate multiple technology systems simultaneously.
Ability to perform financial calculations accurately.
