About The Position

This role involves performing and evaluating laboratory tests, processing specimens for testing, and assisting with laboratory support functions. The position also includes additional responsibilities such as performing other duties as assigned and complying with all policies and standards. Specific duties will be detailed during department orientation. A critical aspect of this role is the adherence to all requirements for safely and securely maintaining Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients, which includes annual training, adherence to the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures regarding the appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Requirements

• High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
• CWRU Master's in Pathology student REQUIRED
• Knowledge of medical terminology. (Required proficiency)
• Basic computer skills. (Required proficiency)

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree (Preferred)
• Previous laboratory experience (Preferred)
