About The Position

VSS is currently hiring part-time Technician Assistants who have a minimum of 2 years' experience. The role offers candidates the opportunity to make their own schedule, maintain a great work-life balance, gain more experience in the veterinary field, and take charge of their career. Relief Technician Assistants are paid a competitive salary with shift differentials for day, swing, overnight, and weekend shifts. They will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practices, including multi-specialty/ER hospitals, shelters, and general practices. The position focuses on assistant duties and explicitly states that Technician Assistants will not be performing phlebotomy, placing IV catheters, running or inducing anesthesia, administering medications, or any other LVT duties.
