About The Position

Under the responsibility of the Accounts Payable Supervisor, within the Shared Accounting Services team, the Accounts Payable Technician supports the Accounts Payable team in processing invoices and issuing payments. Here's an overview of the main responsibilities of this position: Enter invoices into the computer system; Reconcile data/purchases recorded at points of sale with account statements received from suppliers; Issue payment lists; Create accounting entries; Analyze various accounts; Respond to requests from various internal managers and suppliers; Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

  • AEC or DEC in accounting
  • 1 year of relevant accounting experience
  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality in handling files
  • Meet tight deadlines
  • Be meticulous while working quickly and efficiently
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingualism required (Advanced French and English) both spoken and written, as the role requires collaboration with global teams.
