About The Position

The Mechanical Technician installs mechanical parts and assemblies during helicopter assembly, including rotor heads, transmissions, engines, hydraulic lines, and flight controls. Work may take place in cramped areas with limited room. The technician uses engineering drawings and job cards, follows the production schedule, and determines effective methods for completing work and overcoming obstacles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanical aviation production experience.
• Knowledge of rotary-wing or fixed-wing aircraft.
• General knowledge of aviation mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work within the time provided.
• Follow engineering drawings and revisions.
• Install assemblies accurately.
• Participate in on-the-job training.
