Technician 4 - Mechanical

About The Position
The technician installs mechanical parts during helicopter assembly, including rotor heads, transmissions, engines, hydraulic lines, and flight controls. Work may take place in cramped areas with limited room. The technician uses engineering drawings and job cards, follows the production schedule, and works through obstacles to determine an effective method for completing each task.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of mechanical aviation production experience.
- Knowledge of rotary- or fixed-wing aircraft.
- General knowledge of aviation mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned work within the time allotted.
- Follow engineering drawings and revisions.
- Install assemblies accurately.
- Participate in on-the-job training.
