About The Position

The Technician 4 - Mechanical installs mechanical parts and assemblies on helicopters, including rotor heads, transmissions, engines, hydraulic lines, and flight controls. The work may take place in cramped areas with limited room. The technician follows engineering drawings, job cards, revisions, and the production schedule, and works through obstacles to determine effective methods for completing tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanical aviation production experience.
• Knowledge of rotary- or fixed-wing aircraft.
• General knowledge of aviation mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs within the time provided.
• Follow engineering drawings and revisions.
• Install assemblies accurately.
• Participate in on-the-job training.
