Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver’s license
  • At least 1 year of forklift repair or related industry experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Problem-solving skills
  • The ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
  • Excellent customer service
  • A Safety-First mindset
  • Knowledge of equipment and branch operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical or trade school training
  • Hyster-Yale certifications
  • Certification on 50% of the company product line

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment, including engines, motors, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical, and lifting systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to keep equipment operating to manufacturer specifications.
  • Follow all safety practices, including proper blocking, chocking, chaining, and compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company standards.
  • Complete repair paperwork, maintain needed parts and supplies, keep work areas clean, and continue required technical training and certifications.
