Requirements

High school diploma or GED
A valid driver’s license
At least 1 year of forklift repair or related industry experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Problem-solving skills
The ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
Excellent customer service
A Safety-First mindset
Knowledge of equipment and branch operations.

Nice To Haves

Mechanical or trade school training
Hyster-Yale certifications
Certification on 50% of the company product line

Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment, including engines, motors, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical, and lifting systems.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to keep equipment operating to manufacturer specifications.
Follow all safety practices, including proper blocking, chocking, chaining, and compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company standards.
Complete repair paperwork, maintain needed parts and supplies, keep work areas clean, and continue required technical training and certifications.
