As a Service Technician I, you’ll play an important role in keeping our customers moving and our equipment running safely and reliably. Requirements

• A strong mechanical aptitude with 1+ year of forklift or related equipment repair experience
• High school diploma or GED
• A safety-first mindset, solid communication skills, and pride in quality work
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to complete ongoing technical training

Nice To Haves

• trade school or Hyster-Yale certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair material handling equipment—including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and lift systems—at customer sites or in our shop
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to keep equipment running to spec
• Safely disassemble, repair, and rebuild components while following all Sammons and OSHA safety standards
• Document work completed, maintain parts and tools, and keep a clean, safe work environment
