About The Position
SAIC is seeking a Technical Writer to provide onsite support to the THAAD Trainers Team. The role involves creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation under the guidance of subject matter experts. This includes ensuring content aligns with Army regulations, collaborating with engineers and SMEs, and managing documentation logistics for team meetings.
Requirements
- Create, self-edit and format technical documentations for THAAD Trainers Team.
- Coordinate peer reviews of draft documentation. Address comments and incorporate redlines from peer reviews utilizing the THAAD Trainer Program process.
- Collaborate with engineers, developers and other subject matter experts to collect accurate technical information.
- Ensure all content aligns with established terminology, templates defined by Army regulations.
- Review and update existing documentation to keep it accurate, clear and consistent.
- Track revisions, maintain traceability of review comments and prepare documents for delivery to stakeholders.
- Prepare minutes, action items and other documentation logistics for team meetings.
