Anduril's Mission Success team is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to create and maintain user documentation across its diverse business lines. The Technical Writer will partner with product and operations teams to deliver accurate, updated, and easy-to-understand documentation on how to use Anduril products. This role involves working closely with engineers, operations, and subject matter experts to understand products, identify user workflows, and use documentation to bridge gaps. The Technical Writer will play a foundational role in setting the bar for tone, voice, and quality across written artifacts, ensuring front-line operators know how to leverage complex hardware and software systems. The role requires identifying relevant stakeholders, leading them through a documentation roadmap with milestones and targets, engaging subject matter experts, and guiding them towards finished user-facing documents. Collaboration with account teams to ensure contract deliverables are accurate, on-time, and in the correct format is also key. Written content artifacts may include technical manuals, operational manuals, maintenance manuals, procedures, checklists, templates, user guides, troubleshooting guides, and release notes. The role involves partnering with account, product, and engineering teams across all phases of product development. Familiarity with MIL-STD-40051D and S1000D standards, delivered via IETMs/IETDs, is highly desired for GOV programs.
