About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Technical Writer for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.

Requirements

• Technical Writer support for C5ISR systems
• Development and updates of C5ISR stage 4 and 5 test procedures, reports, briefs, proposals, instructional books, system operation manuals, maintenance manuals, Interactive Electronic Training Manuals (IETM), computer-based training (CBT) modules and related technical documents
• Quality control of test procedures in accordance with contract requirements and MIL STD 2106
• Collaboration with cross-functional team members for test procedure development improvements

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Writer support with the development and updates of C5ISR stage 4 and 5 test procedures, reports, briefs, proposals, instructional books, system operation manuals, maintenance manuals, Interactive Electronic Training Manuals (IETM), computer-based training (CBT) modules and related technical documents concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance of shipboard C5ISR systems.
• Adhere to required quality control of test procedures in accordance with contract requirements and MIL STD 2106.
• Works with the cross functional team members to identify potential test procedure development improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the conduct of C5ISR tests.
