About The Position

Culmen International is looking for a Technical Writer to support our work with the Defense Health Agency in Silver Springs, MD. The Technical Writer develops clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation supporting PHCoE clinical, research, and operational activities. The position translates complex scientific and technical information into practical tools and guidance for clinicians, leaders, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Health Communications, or related field.
• Experience supporting healthcare, public health, or government programs.
• Strong editing and document management skills.
• Public Trust; contract requires US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical support tools and operational documentation.
• Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Support development of implementation plans and user guides.
• Translate scientific findings into actionable products.
• Ensure compliance with DoD formatting and publication requirements.
