Technical Writer
About The Position
Technical writers in the Content Experience organization at Salesforce produce documentation and user assistance that helps customers get the most out of our products. We work closely with product managers, engineers, and the user experience team in an Agile development environment to produce online help, guides, videos, and in-app assistance for administrators, users, and developers. We’re looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all. Requirements
- Under 2 years of experience as a writer, editor, or developer
- Undergrad or Masters graduate within 12 months of grad date
- Ability to adhere to existing styles and processes
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Experience creating online help
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Focus on quality and details
- Knowledge of XML or HTML
- Strong team player
- Customer advocate
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or communications field
Nice To Haves
- Experience documenting software
- Experience with video and image editing software (Camtasia)
- Experience with source control software such as Perforce or Git
- Experience with authoring tools such as Oxygen XML Editor
- Experience with Markdown and AI tools, such as Claude Code or Cursor
Responsibilities
- Own, create, and maintain documentation and in-app assistance for the Salesforce application, primarily Agentforce Sales.
