About The Position

As a Technical Writer, you will be required to produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for the intended audience. This role works closely with various departments to translate technical concepts into accessible content.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them into user-friendly documentation that is clear and concise.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and gather accurate information from various sources.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize information to create coherent documentation.
  • Ensure all technical details are correct and consistent.
  • Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and writing styles.
  • Meticulously proofreading to eliminate errors.

Nice To Haves

  • Software Proficiency utilizing tools such as Adobe inDesign, Paligo(CCMS), Adobe Illustrator, Corel Designer, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Composer or other documentation software a definite asset

Responsibilities

  • Create documentation for technical and non-technical audiences (including user manuals, service manuals, and technical training materials) ensuring that documentation is consistent, professional, and technically accurate
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, product managers, and others stakeholders to gather information and ensure content accuracy
  • Create hydraulic and electrical circuit schematics and diagrams using existing engineering drawings
  • Conduct research and analysis on new technologies and products to provide accurate and relevant content
  • Implement user feedback to improve documentation and user experience
