About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise IT and infrastructure environments, with a proven ability to create comprehensive documentation. This role requires a deep understanding of multi-environment architecture, networking concepts, and security compliance. You will be responsible for developing a variety of technical documents, including BOMs, system architecture documentation, and operational runbooks, ensuring clarity and accuracy for technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical writing within enterprise IT or infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of multi-environment architecture (DEV, QA, PROD).
• Proven experience preparing BOMs, system architecture documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, ports, protocols, firewalls).
• Experience with security accreditation and compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Visio (or similar diagramming tools), and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Create system architecture documentation.
• Develop operational runbooks.
• Document security accreditation and compliance requirements.
• Ensure documentation aligns with ITIL processes and enterprise governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation meets needs.
• Maintain and update existing documentation as required.
