About The Position

Accenture Flex is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to create, edit, and maintain clear, accurate, user-friendly consumer-facing content for products and services used by a global audience. The role translates complex product information into accessible documentation and partners with cross-functional teams to maintain quality, consistency, and usability. The writer manages documentation from initial concept through publication and contributes to improving writing standards, editorial processes, and content quality. This is a hybrid role, with 60% onsite work at the client's office in Cambridge. Accenture Flex employees work onsite at projects in their local metro area, significantly reducing or eliminating travel demands.

Requirements

At least 2 years of work experience.
Ability to look at and understand code, read existing documentation, and craft a process flow for onboarding to new AI-based security reviews.
Significant professional writing and editing experience, ideally supporting technology products or services.
Demonstrated experience creating clear, consumer-friendly content from complex information.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Technical Writing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Write, edit, and maintain clear, concise consumer-facing technical documentation for a global audience.
Translate complex product, feature, and service information into content that users can understand.
Develop and update support content, help documentation, instructional materials, and other product-related communications.
Partner with product, technical, operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, consistency, tone, and adherence to editorial standards.
Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to other writers.
Maintain documentation as products, features, and requirements evolve.
Manage multiple writing assignments and priorities while meeting deadlines.
Ensure a consistent content experience across audiences and communication channels.
Contribute to continuous improvement of writing standards, editorial processes, and content quality.
Understand code, review existing documentation, and craft an onboarding process flow for new AI-based security reviews.
