About The Position

Rivet Operations Company is looking for a Technical Writer to produce and refine the key deliverables of an enterprise-wide acquisition portfolio management effort for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in the National Capital Region. The IT Specialist role is responsible for drafting, formatting, and editing the effort's major deliverables, maintaining consistent templates and version control, and incorporating review comments to ensure documents are complete, accurate, and delivered on time. This position is a strong fit for a writer who can translate technical and policy content into polished, review-ready deliverables in a federal program environment.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship and able to pass a High-Risk Public Trust background investigation.
Must possess a Bachelor's degree related to the field of work
3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience as as a technical writer or editor supporting federal programs
Proven ability to produce clear, professional documentation from technical, acquisition, or policy source material
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Prior experience within the Department of Homeland security with familiarity in cybersecurity is desired

Responsibilities

Support development and upkeep of the Project Management Plan and its supporting sections
Draft, format, and edit major deliverables
Prepare and refine status reports and meeting materials
Establish and maintain consistent formatting, templates, style, and version control across all documentation
Incorporate review comments and support quality control processes, ensuring deliverables are complete, accurate, and free of material errors
Handle and store Government information and CUI in accordance with DHS records management and information protection requirements
