The Technical Writer role will work in the Policy and Control Operations team of Information Security. This role focuses on technical documentation writing, not transaction processing. Technical writing samples will be requested if granted an interview. The position will provide functional and/or technical writing support for the resolution of internal program inquiries. It requires liaising with other team members as needed to resolve questions/issues in a timely manner, with an emphasis on ensuring proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow-up. The role involves creating and writing original documents, developing, reviewing, and editing documentation of technical IT products, policies, security standards, processes, procedures, and deployments. Additionally, the Technical Writer will conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports. Communication with team members, engineers, and Subject Matter Experts is essential to identify processes, document them, and publish Standard Operating Procedures. The role maintains responsibility for the completion and accuracy of work products and requires conveying technical details clearly to a range of audiences, both in writing and verbally.
