About The Position

ECS is seeking a Technical Writer - Senior to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program. In this role, the selected candidate will support Task 3, Cybersecurity Operations Support, by leading the development, quality control, and standardization of cybersecurity documentation, management plans, reports, executive briefings, standard operating procedures, and contractual deliverables. The Technical Writer - Senior will work closely with cybersecurity functional leads, analysts, engineers, and program leadership to translate complex operational and technical information into accurate, structured, and Government-ready documentation that supports 24x7x365 Defensive Cyberspace Operations - Internal Defensive Measures (DCO-IDM) across the DoDIN-Army-NG area of responsibility. This position directly supports ARNG's mission to deliver secure enterprise services to more than 120,000 users and approximately 141,000 endpoints across roughly 2,800 sites in 54 states and territories, including support to Title 10 and Title 32 missions, mobilization readiness, domestic emergency response, and classified SIPRNet operations. The role contributes to documentation and reporting tied to the ARNG cybersecurity environment, including coordination with the NETCOM Global Cyber Center and DISA DCDC, and supports the documentation needs associated with RMF activities, eMASS records, USIEM analytics, EDR operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and related classified and unclassified network defense activities. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Security Clearance: Secret Eligible
  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity
  • Demonstrated experience developing, editing, and finalizing technical and program documentation such as management plans, SOPs, reports, briefings, and contractual deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational and technical information from cybersecurity teams into clear, structured written products for Government audiences.
  • Experience implementing documentation quality control practices, including formatting standards, review cycles, and version management.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple functional stakeholders to gather, reconcile, and present accurate technical content.
  • Ability to produce documentation with audit-ready traceability and alignment to reporting requirements.
  • Experience supporting documentation for cybersecurity operations, compliance activities, or RMF-related processes.
  • Ability to organize and present information clearly for both technical personnel and executive-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, editing, and standardization of Task Order documentation for Task 3 Cybersecurity Operations Support, including management plans, reports, executive briefings, SOPs, and contractual deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, formatting guidance, and review workflows to improve consistency, clarity, and compliance across cybersecurity submissions.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity managers, SOC personnel, ISSM/ISSO staff, engineers, analysts, and other technical contributors to convert complex cyber operations data into clear, accurate, and Government-ready written products.
  • Develop and quality-check documentation supporting 24x7x365 cybersecurity operations, including monitoring and analysis activities, vulnerability management, incident response, compliance reporting, and RMF support.
  • Support documentation associated with coordination and reporting to organizations such as the NETCOM Global Cyber Center and DISA DCDC within the ARNG cyber defense mission.
  • Produce and maintain audit-ready deliverables with clear version control, traceability, and alignment to contractual reporting requirements and Government review expectations.
  • Assist in documenting cybersecurity artifacts and reporting related to RMF activities, including eMASS records, security plans, self-assessments, and POA&M-related materials as provided by technical teams.
  • Prepare executive briefings and structured reports that communicate cybersecurity posture, operational findings, and deliverable status across ARNG classified and unclassified network environments.
  • Contribute to documentation supporting cyber operations tools and environments referenced by the program, including USIEM analytics, EDR activities, and associated threat detection and response workflows.
