About The Position

The Product Development Technical Writer is responsible for authoring and maintaining design, manufacturing, and process control documents to ensure successful product transition from concept to production.

Requirements

BS in English or Technical field or 5-10 years’ occupational experience
1-5 years of technical writing experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Semiconductor industry experience strongly desired
Semiconductor manufacturing/process knowledge strongly desired
Engineering/Manufacturing background desired
Working knowledge of SolidWorks Composer or similar technical publication software desired

Responsibilities

Develops and controls all product build instructions and manuals (part specific)
Accountable to ensure all instructions and manuals are written with the six-sigma philosophy - DFSS
Provides leadership for safety and the environment
Ensures successful completion of assigned project phases within the budgeted time
Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices
Understand the importance of designing, building, and operating safe systems. Basic knowledge and understanding of basic safety work processes such as JSA’s and MOC’s
Demonstrate commitment in the successful EH&S management of chemical processes and facilities
