About The Position
Vista Innovative Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer to add to our Information Technology Support Services team in support of the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois.
Requirements
- Skill in working independently, multitasking, prioritizing projects, and meeting deadlines.
- Skill in using analytical and research skills in performance of job duties.
- Demonstrate high-end customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Self-motivated to learn, troubleshoot, and complete projects.
- Skill in software testing, developing end user acceptance plans & delivering guidance for end user testing

Responsibilities
- Works closely with business application stakeholder(s) to define and document requirements
- Creates and builds out user assistance infrastructure, including how-to sections, FAQs, and Help sections
- Writes about technical subjects for technical and nontechnical audiences
- Test and updates existing documentation
