About The Position
Custom Learning Designs (CLD) is seeking an experienced Freelance Medical Writer to join their team and develop high-quality, scientifically accurate content across a range of medical and pharmaceutical communications. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a solid foundation in the life sciences who can translate complex clinical and scientific information into clear, compelling, and accessible prose for a variety of audiences. This role requires the ability to independently research primary literature, apply sound analytical judgment, and synthesize findings into well-organized, detail-oriented deliverables under tight deadlines. The successful candidate will bring both precision and creativity to their work, along with the ability to quickly understand new medical topics in depth and communicate them effectively.
Requirements
- Excellent writing and organization skills
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Acrobat
- Fastidious attention to detail
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work under deadline pressures
Nice To Haves
- Pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device sales training experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Understand a medical topic in depth and apply that knowledge to creating high-quality medical content
