This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. The Warfare Systems team is currently seeking a Technical Writer/Editor in support of an exciting new effort supporting one of our clients that is responsible for unifying the direction of cyberspace operations, strengthening DoD cyberspace capabilities, and integrating and bolstering DoD's cyber expertise. This contract supports ongoing operations within a combatant command. During periods of conflict, crisis, or other significant operational shifts, mission requirements may change rapidly. Additionally, when staffing adjustments occur, work schedules may need to be modified to maintain essential coverage. Accordingly, work shifts may be adjusted based on customer requirements. This posting is to collect applications for current and future openings for HII Mission Technologies. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Flexibility to adjust shifts as needed to cover 24x7 operations
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration
