About The Position

Alliance North America (ANA) is a recognized industry leader, established in 2017 and the sole North American supplier of AIRMAN Power Generators, AIRMAN Air Compressors, and ANA’s patented EBOSS® Hybrid Energy System and Smart load bank system. ANA is seeking a Technical Training Engineer for an onsite position in Henderson, NV. As a Technical Trainer II, you will have the opportunity to build the training and operator-certification programs that turn our engineering standards into a skilled, consistent production workforce, and help stand up training for new product lines as ANA continues to scale. The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. This role reports to the Director of Technical Functions.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (internships, co-ops, or military technical or maintenance experience count).
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and routings, and to follow a process at the station level.
  • Strong communication skills and genuine comfort teaching and coaching on the production floor.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, especially with documentation and training records.
  • Proficient with standard computer tools (Microsoft Office and work-instruction or documentation systems).

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to TWI Job Instruction, lean and 5S, or ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Experience writing SOPs or visual work instructions.
  • Familiarity with electromechanical, generator, compressor, or power-systems assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Build the factory’s training program around the specific skills each production role requires, creating and updating curriculum as those needs evolve.
  • Develop and maintain station-level work instructions, SOPs, and visual aids, translating engineering drawings, BOMs, routings, and PFMEAs into clear, teachable steps.
  • Deliver hands-on training to assembly operators and technicians, including new-hire onboarding, cross-training, and requalification, on the production floor.
  • Support new product line launches (NPI): under engineering direction, help develop, pilot, and validate training for new products and workstations as they are introduced.
  • Build and maintain the operator skills matrix and certification system, qualifying operators to a defined standard and keeping accurate, audit-ready training records.
  • Support operator hiring by identifying the skills and capability gaps for each role, helping define job requirements and screening criteria.
  • Apply lean and standardized-work principles, including TWI Job Instruction methods, to keep training consistent, repeatable, and current as processes change.
  • Partner with engineering, production supervisors, quality, and safety to identify capability gaps and close them.
  • Track training effectiveness, including time-to-competency, rework, first-pass yield, and cross-training coverage, and recommend improvements.
