About The Position

Eastland Food is looking for an outgoing individual to join their team as a Technical Training and Safety Officer. This role involves developing and delivering technical training programs, identifying training needs, creating training materials, and evaluating program effectiveness. Additionally, the position requires managing safety by identifying and controlling workplace hazards, developing safety policies and procedures, conducting inspections and audits, investigating incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture.

Requirements

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to identify, assess, and control workplace hazards and risks.
Proficiency in conducting training sessions and developing training materials.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
BSc/BA in business administration, social studies, or relevant field.

Nice To Haves

Experience in safety management and/or training is a plus.
Bilingual is preferred (English, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese).
Further training will be a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver technical training programs, ensuring they are relevant, engaging, and meet industry standards.
Identify training needs and gaps within the organization.
Create and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online modules.
Conduct training sessions, providing instruction and guidance to employees.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
Identify, assess, and control workplace hazards and risks.
Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
