The Technical Trainer facilitates instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training programs in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), supporting Clarke Fire employees, customers, service dealers, OEMs, and field technicians nationwide. This role combines technical training delivery with responsibility for developing, maintaining, and managing accurate, current technical documentation across the organization. Working within office, classroom, manufacturing, and field environments, the Technical Trainer utilizes Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Office applications, and other training technologies to create, update, and deliver technical training content. The position partners closely with SMEs, Engineering, Production, and Customer Support teams to ensure training materials, procedures, and documentation reflect current products, processes, and operational best practices. The role requires regular presence on the manufacturing floor to observe equipment, evaluate internal procedures, validate training content, and maintain a thorough understanding of product design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The Technical Trainer conducts classroom and hands-on training sessions, including demonstrations of equipment operation, maintenance practices, and diagnostic procedures in a factory training environment. The position requires frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders and strong communication skills to effectively deliver technical information to diverse audiences. Travel is required to customer locations, service dealer facilities, trade events, and other training venues to support customer education initiatives and technical training programs. Flexibility to accommodate overnight travel and vary training schedules based on customer and business needs is essential.
