About The Position

Nomic is hiring its first dedicated recruiter to build the company’s talent acquisition and talent intelligence function from the ground up. The primary focus is full-cycle technical recruiting for engineering and product roles, with additional hiring across go-to-market and business operations as the company scales. The role owns hiring from market mapping and sourcing through screening, interview design, debriefs, offers, and closing, while partnering with leaders to define role requirements and build fair, structured interview processes. The Talent Partner will create recruiting infrastructure, including ATS, workflows, scorecards, candidate experience, and hiring metrics, and use funnel data and market intelligence to improve hiring and advise leadership. The role also involves developing long-term candidate relationships, representing Nomic at events and conferences, engaging with universities, and positioning Nomic as an attractive place to work in partnership with marketing. The position is based in New York City with a hybrid work model requiring three days in the office.
