Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 15+ years of systems engineering experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Scaled Agile (SAFe), DoDAF and the Cameo architectural tool.

Responsibilities

  • Review, revise, and create technical architecture documents to ensure system designs meet mission requirements.
  • Collaborate with other technologists to determine system communication contracts and ensure seamless integration.
  • Facilitate Engineering Review Board (ERB) sessions with NSA leadership, influencing key decisions and driving technical excellence.
  • Prepare system engineering management plans, system integration plans, and test strategies to ensure smooth development and implementation.
  • Work closely with government stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges and provide expert guidance on system engineering considerations.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Work with a larger team on two-week sprints, participate in daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives, and Scrum of Scrums.
