About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite end-user support across the district. This role focuses on supporting field staff with new and existing technologies, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and enabling users to effectively perform their job functions through innovative use of technology.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Microsoft technologies: Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite (including Office 365/Online), SharePoint and MS Teams
  • Hands-on experience with desktop/laptop support and wireless devices
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting tools and techniques
  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems and reporting tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Will be required to drive a state vehicle as part of the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite technical support to end users across the assigned district
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Support and manage desktop and laptop computers, as well as wireless/mobile devices
  • Assist users with Microsoft technologies including Windows, Office 365, SharePoint, and MS Teams
  • Respond to and track service requests using help desk/ticketing systems
  • Escalate complex issues as needed and ensure timely resolution and communication
  • Work closely with field staff to implement and support new technology solutions
  • Deliver excellent customer service with a strong “customer-first” mindset
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and support activities
