About The Position

dormakaba is seeking an onsite Technical Support Representative based in Lexington, KY from 11 am – 8 pm ET. The Technical Support Representative is responsible for providing technical support to end users, such as financial institutions, ATM operators, armored car companies, and integrators. The Technical Support Representative will support internal business partners in managing and operating software applications and lock hardware and provide system maintenance for order related files. They will Initiate and/or implement corrective actions as needed to provide a level of customer service necessary to support the achievement of defined corporate and department goals.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent
Experience with software installation and setup within commercial networks, both client workstations and servers
Proficiency Microsoft Office products and Windows operating systems

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or vocational training
Past experience in customer service
Technical support or help desk role
Multilingual (Spanish, French, German)

Responsibilities

Respond to standard customer inquiries and provide basic troubleshooting support for safe lock hardware and application software products
Follow established procedures to install or configure software and hardware
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Level 2 or senior technical staff
Prepare routine reports and documentation
Perform assigned system maintenance to various electronic and physical files according to guidelines and/or under supervision
