About The Position

Entry-level electrical technician familiar with analog and digital communications circuits with experience in modifications, troubleshooting, and use of electrical test equipment. Work with cabling build / modification, computer systems, and running checkout tests. Assembly and modification of equipment cabinets, racks, and communications cabling. Troubleshooting electrical systems. Maintain inventory of labs equipment. Willingness to work occasional overtime, to include extended shifts and weekends.

Requirements

• Experience with cabling manufacturing and repair (crimping contacts, soldering, stripping / preparing wires, terminating shields, etc.).
• Build and / or modify hardware using machine shop equipment (e.g. drill press, grinding wheel, band saw).
• Experience understanding and building to fabrication drawings and schematics.
• Self-motivated, team player willing to adapt within a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to receive direction from technical staff.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined in ITAR 22 CFR 120.62 (e.g., U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or protected individual).
