The Technical Support Manager is responsible for managing a team of Technical Support employees who provide technical support to Carestream Dental customers. The primary goal is to minimize customer impact by resolving escalated incidents or requests quickly and restoring customer business operations. This role involves day-to-day supervisory responsibilities, including monitoring employee key performance indicators, managing time and attendance, general employee administration, knowledge utilization, and training development and deployment. The role ensures positive customer outcomes through a team that delivers effective troubleshooting, communication, and timely escalations in line with agreed SLAs. The Manager must act as a customer advocate, understand technical issues, and quickly involve the appropriate resources within the Service Division to ensure a positive customer experience.
