About The Position

Blockaid is hiring a student to join its Support team in NYC as a Junior Technical Support Engineer. The role provides hands-on experience with blockchain security products and an opportunity to build a technical foundation while studying, with potential to grow into a full-time role after graduation. Prior professional experience is not required; the position emphasizes curiosity, fast learning, systematic thinking, and development. Work is organized in rotating shifts, with scheduling coordinated around the student's studies as much as possible.

Requirements

• Currently studying toward a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field.
• Approximately 1–1.5 years remaining in studies.
• Strong analytical thinking and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly, follow through on customer inquiries, and recognize when to escalate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Curiosity about or enthusiasm for blockchain, crypto, and Web3.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line technical support for Blockaid applications and learn to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
• Monitor system performance metrics, API health, and security incident alerts.
• Help maintain and improve playbooks, troubleshooting guides, and internal documentation.
• Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to learn the product.
• Take on increasing responsibility while developing subject matter expertise.
