About The Position

Markon is seeking a qualified Technical Subject Matter Expertise on a Classified USG Program from Chantilly, VA. This role involves conducting technical analysis and all-source analysis to identify and counter foreign intelligence threats, with a focus on telecommunications, network/computer/data security. The position requires researching, analyzing, and exploiting data from various sources to inform counterintelligence operations, and developing intelligence requirements to fulfill those needs. Additionally, the role involves researching, authoring, and coordinating threat assessments, connecting pieces of information from different sources to deal with potential threats, assessing the believability of information, collecting it, and validating intelligence. The Technical Subject Matter Expert will also develop data models, diagrams, flow charts, and other system engineering-related documentation for problem-solving, improvement identification, standards creation, and cross-organizational collaboration. Performing technical trades and analyses in support of requirements development, and studying capability feasibility, vulnerability studies, and gap analyses are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • An active TS/SCI with a FSP (preferably from this client).
  • 10+ years relevant experience, including data analysis, reports development, intelligence operations, and risk management.
  • A Bachelor of Science in STEM.
  • In-depth and expert level understanding of intelligence community (specifically this client's) operations, gathering, and technical analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Connect pieces of information that is available from different sources like field and from reliable reports on anti-terrorism and national security to deal with potential threats. Assess the believability of the information from the reliable sources, collect it and validate intelligence.
  • Develop data models, diagrams, flow charts, and other system engineering-related documentation to problem-solve, identify improvements, create standards, and facilitate cross-organizational collaboration.
  • Perform technical trades and analyses in support of requirements development.
  • Study capability feasibility and vulnerability studies and gap analyses.
