Requirements

  • Ability to Drive model selection and advise in architectural trade-offs and implication against customer targeted outcomes along with deep knowledge in open-source and commercial AI workflow applications and their implications across compute, network and storage.
  • Deliver a comprehensive plan and documentation for building and implementing AI solutions for stated business needs.
  • Working experience with Enterprise cluster deployments, AI workflows for training and inferencing use cases.
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture to including CPUs, accelerators, networking, storage and benchmarking methodologies.
  • Experience identifying, developing and communicating differentiation opportunities and providing recommendations to marketing, procurement, engineering, customers and business executives and understand business needs while developing technical solutions; need to be able to travel 20%-30% to assess customer requirements and develop blueprints.

  • Masters, PhD or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of next-generation large-scale AI Infrastructure to include accelerated compute, AI Fabric and AI optimized storage.
  • Engage with high profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications and tune systems for maximum performance.
  • Drive innovation at datacenter level with liquid cooling technologies and power density.
  • Drive AI software and hardware designs based on customer requirements and required infrastructure.
  • Address business outcome requirements with AI guidance across software and hardware options that scale based on datacenter and business requirements.
  • Optimize the software and hardware configuration to maximize performance and efficiency of datacenter components.
  • Work closely with key external partners to create differentiated solutions and develop software and hardware solution architectures to integrate within Enterprise datacenter frameworks and applications.
  • Engage with high profile partners/customers to drive innovation at the workload, platform and datacenter level and provide expertise on multiple AI technologies and shape future products.
  • Participate in strategic internal and industry forums and be a point of escalation for critical development issues and generate Intellectual Property including invention disclosures.
  • Maintain multi-year roadmaps detailing feature trade-offs and host regular technology reviews to ensure roadmap and Dell business objectives alignment.
