About The Position

Analyzes and translates complex technical requirements into architectural blueprints or proofs of concept for one or more information technology products and/or systems. Ensures the quality, scalability, and supportability of business applications.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience designing scalable custom solutions utilizing Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Monolithic Decomposition, and API-first/Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Proven track record architecting high-availability, resilient solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP (focused on PaaS and Serverless), with strong familiarity in CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
  • Broad knowledge across modern backend languages (Java, .NET, Node.js) and frontend frameworks (React, Angular).
  • Solid grasp of enterprise identity/security standards (OAuth2, OIDC, Azure AD/Entra ID, OWASP Top 10) alongside observability stacks (ELK, Azure Monitor, Prometheus) and caching strategies (Redis, CDN).
  • Demonstrated ability to establish coding standards, enforce design patterns, and document landscapes via Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and system blueprints.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex technical architectures into simplified business concepts for cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Ops).

  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, AI agents) or Platform Engineering (Internal Developer Platforms).

Responsibilities

  • Defines, designs, and oversees the systems and applications architecture for current and future technology products and business applications.
  • Understands product vision and business requirements to define product architectures and works with product managers to plan and execute new product releases.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure products and solutions meet business requirements, are well documented, and have processes in place for ongoing support and maintenance.
  • Develops architecture and design principles to improve product performance, capacity, and scalability.
  • Maintains architectural standards to ensure product development needs align with business objectives.
  • Assists technology teams with issues needing technical expertise and complex systems knowledge.
  • Evaluates new and emerging technologies and developmental methodologies to find faster, cost effective, and more reliable solutions for existing and proposed systems.
  • Provides training and guidance to technology teams.
