Requirements

More than 5 years of experience on pipeline, pump station, and terminal operating systems.
DOT 195 & DOT 192 knowledge and experience in compliance.
Mechanical maintenance experience.
Basic understanding of Electricity and Instrumentation.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong ability for prioritizing and scheduling multiple projects.
Experience with Microsoft programs.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow Company procedures and manufacturers guidelines.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet in order to transfer tools and equipment.
Ability to operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns.
Ability to work alone as required in extreme weather conditions including hot, cold, muddy, and wet environments.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong commitment to personal and team safety.
Must live within 30 miles of the facility.
Must live 30 miles from the Kosci Compressor Station in order to respond to call-outs.

Nice To Haves

10 Plus years of petro-chemical industry experience.
5 Plus years Electrical Experience.
5 Plus years Instrumentation & Automation experience.
5 Plus years gas measurement experience.
Technical school or college.

Responsibilities

Testing and performing mechanical maintenance on reciprocating engines, auxiliary equipment, and related facilities.
Supporting daily Electrical, Controls, and Automation (E&I) activities within the assigned area.
Maintaining assigned tools and equipment.
Promoting safe work practices.
Serving as a project lead when required.
Performing valve and flow control inspections.
Performing tank gauging.
Performing maintenance and calibration of measurement and metering equipment.
Performing inspection of over-pressure protection systems.
Performing all assigned measurement, mechanical, and E&I tasks.
Performing preventive maintenance for compressor and meter station operations.
Identifying and reporting abnormal or unsafe operating conditions.
Completing accident and near-miss reporting.
Participating in emergency response activities.
Leading projects and making equipment-related decisions within the assigned area.
Maintaining required compliance documentation.
Completing all Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks specifically assigned to the position.
Assisting other areas as needed.
Completing Core Block training in Safety, Environmental, and Company policies and procedures.
