About The Position

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc., a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented entry-level Technical Specialist I based at our Berea, KY location. This role involves installing, developing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting assigned technical systems, with a primary focus on .NET application needs, including applications developed in Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). The specialist will follow established standards to ensure consistency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement, while providing timely support to supervisors in resolving issues during crisis situations and collaborating with other technology groups. The role also supports process, capability, and cost-saving improvements under supervisor guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 0 – 2 years of experience.
  • Basic technical troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills.
  • Basic .Net development skills.
  • Knowledge of technical installation, monitoring, repair, testing, and implementation processes.
  • Ability to review specifications, document issues, and support root-cause analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and standard computer tools.
  • Ability to follow technical procedures, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement activities.
