About The Position

World Wide Technology is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect (TSA) – AI High-Performance Networking to join our AI & Data practice, specifically on the High-Performance Architectures (HPA) practice within Global Solutions & Architecture (GS&A). You will be WWT's subject matter expert on the network fabrics powering AI Factories — designing InfiniBand, Spectrum-X Ethernet, and RoCE architectures alongside partners including NVIDIA (Mellanox), Arista, Cisco, Juniper, and Broadcom to deliver lossless, low-latency networks for the most ambitious AI workloads on the planet. You will sit at the intersection of WWT's NVIDIA, hyperscaler, and enterprise customer engagements — translating customer business outcomes into validated, scalable fabric designs that move models from pilot to production. Expect to spend your time pairing with customer architects, leading whiteboard sessions in WWT's Advanced Technology Center (ATC), and shaping the reference designs the rest of WWT's field organization takes to market.

Requirements

  • 5+ years architecting, implementing, or selling high-performance enterprise networking, with strong focus on AI/ML and HPC fabrics, including:
  • InfiniBand & RDMA fabrics — NVIDIA Quantum-2/-3, SHARP in-network computing, NCCL collective tuning, GPUDirect RDMA
  • High-performance Ethernet — NVIDIA Spectrum-X, RoCEv2, lossless Ethernet (PFC/ECN/DCQCN), adaptive routing, BGP-EVPN/VXLAN at scale
  • Vendor platforms — Arista (EOS, 7800/7060X), Cisco (Nexus 9000, Silicon One, NX-OS/ACI), Juniper (QFX/PTX, Apstra), Broadcom Tomahawk/Jericho
  • AI compute integration — NVIDIA DGX/HGX/MGX, NVLink/NVSwitch, BlueField DPUs, GPUDirect Storage; familiarity with NVIDIA AI Enterprise and Mission Control
  • Operations & automation — Network telemetry (gNMI/INT), Ansible, Python; experience modeling congestion, bandwidth, and rail-optimized topologies
  • Professional skills — Executive and technical communication; experience presenting architectures and proposals; strong organization and time management

Nice To Haves

  • NVIDIA NCP / DGX-Ready / InfiniBand certifications; cloud AI networking (AWS EFA, Azure InfiniBand, GCP); SONiC or other open NOS experience

Responsibilities

  • AI Network Fabric Architecture — Lead end-to-end design of GPU back-end (east-west), front-end (north-south), and storage networks aligned to NVIDIA Cloud Partner and AI Factory reference architectures.
  • Partner Solution Development — Serve as WWT's technical lead across NVIDIA (Quantum InfiniBand, Spectrum-X, BlueField DPUs), Arista, Cisco (Nexus, Silicon One), Juniper, and Broadcom — driving joint designs and GTM plays.
  • Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement — Assess AI network requirements and deliver HLDs, BOMs, LLDs, and proposals for enterprise and hyperscale AI deployments.
  • Field Enablement & Thought Leadership — Produce briefings, workshops, demos, and reference architectures that equip WWT's field teams to position AI networking with confidence.
  • Pipeline & Practice Alignment — Partner with regional architects and sales leadership to qualify and advance opportunities; maintain OEM certifications and track partner roadmaps.
