About The Position
CBM Ready-Mix is seeking a Technical Services Representative, based in the GTA Region. This position is a permanent full-time vacancy. CBM is part of Votorantim Cimentos North America (VCNA). Established principally in Ontario, Canada, St. Marys CBM is the building materials division of St. Marys Cement. Our CBM Ready-Mix division delivers top-quality ready-mix concrete for diverse construction projects. With operations in Ontario and Quebec, we provide reliable, efficient solutions for everything from residential builds to major infrastructure developments. Requirements
- Graduated from a Civil Engineering Technician (CET) program, or similar program.
- Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel).
- Ability to perform physical tasks outside.
- Valid G class license and ability to drive a pick-up truck
- Must have a clean drivers Abstract
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Construction field experience would be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Visit job sites, perform ongoing CSA & ASTM concrete and raw materials testing. Records data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
- Promote value-added products, collect market and job information.
- Supervises and plans for efficient use of materials, equipment and employees.
- Recommend modifications of existing quality or productions standards or procedures.
- Reviews and supervises the work of 3rd party Concrete Testing Services.
- Other duties as assigned.
