Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, oral and written, with the ability to interact with high‑level stakeholders.
  • 5+ years of automotive industry experience
  • Provincial Certificate of Qualification, with Red Seal Endorsement is a plus
  • Deep understanding of automotive systems and repair environments
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging training sessions to groups of all sizes
  • Valid ODP Certification; instructor status is a plus
  • Self-driven mindset—you’re great at managing your own schedule
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with diagnostic tools (Picoscope, scan tools)
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness for daily travel
  • Ability to obtain a passport and travel to the U.S.
  • Openness to overnight travel (approx. 25%)
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years professional experience OR 9 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree

  • experience in the aftermarket market constitutes an important asset
  • qualification as an instructor is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Deliver dynamic technical training sessions across the independent aftermarket
  • Be the trusted expert for technical guidance and product support
  • Conduct warranty inspections and identify trends across the region
  • Lead field investigations and provide clear, actionable reporting
  • Collaborate closely with customer field teams
  • Represent the customer at trade shows and industry events
  • Provide support where needed—every day brings something new
