About The Position

The Technical Services Engineer (TSE) is a technical resource supporting Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) projects, providing technical expertise and direction in developing and implementing energy conservation measures for retro-commissioning activities. Projects typically involve complex, multi-building and multi-campus portfolios in higher education and healthcare, with substantial mechanical infrastructure and advanced, integrated control strategies. The role provides technical expertise across all phases of the commissioning process and collaborates with the engineer of record to optimize system performance and develop practical solutions. It also supports training and mentorship of Technical Services staff and works closely with project managers, energy managers, and team managers to deliver energy and operational performance outcomes. The position calls for deep expertise in MEP design and implementation of energy conservation measures, particularly building automation and energy management systems. The TSE analyzes complex system interactions, resolves issues across multidisciplinary teams, and applies commissioning and energy optimization practices. The role requires execution quality, documentation, continuous improvement, minimal supervision, and a team-oriented problem-solving approach while promoting the ENFRA brand and a positive client experience.
